Love Under the Sun {Miles City, MT Wedding Photographer}

This sneak peek comes from a wedding shot at the Town and Country Club in Miles City a couple of weeks ago.  It was a perfect sunny day, and they were married surrounded by their friends and family.  Not only are Bryce and Alexis a great couple who are very kind and wonderful to be around, but their families are the same the way.  There was not any major stress or drama on the day of their wedding, just love, and excitement for the happy couple.  Although I had never met Bryce prior to their wedding day, it was easy to see that he was marrying his best friend.  I wish you two the best, and hope you had a wonderful honeymoon!

 I talked these two into a few more portraits after the cake cutting to take advantage of the golden light, and I am so glad that they went along with it!  What a beautiful couple!

Love is Kind {Montana, Wedding Photographer}

Crystal and Troy could not have had a more beautiful wedding day.  I knew the location for the outdoor ceremony would be perfect based on the care these two took in choosing locations for their engagement photos.  I was not disappointed.  I love outdoor ceremonies, and this was one of my favorites.  The light was beautiful, and guests sat on benches as well as on the hillside to watch these two be married.

It is actually very fortunate that these two were married when they were, because about a week after the wedding, the Ash Creek wildfire plagued not only the area in which the wedding took place, but also near their home, and the homes of family and other loved ones.  Their first couple weeks of marriage were probably physically and mentally exhausting, as well as heartbreaking to watch the fire's destruction, but I am happy to know that they have each other to lean on.  They are a wonderfully caring couple, and are filled with such kindness and grace.   I have no doubts that they will face their troubles together, and come out the better for it as a couple.

I have been thinking about you and your family a lot over the past week.  I hope these put a smile on your face.

 I love the above and below photos-captured just moments apart of them each looking at the other.

 Bill, Crystal and Troy's dog, was also in attendance during the wedding.  During the ceremony he laid near the best man.  In the above photo were trying to get him to pose.  It worked out better to just let him do his own thing as he did in the below photo.

Back Home {Miles City, MT Wedding Photographer}

I am very lucky to be able to travel around the state to shoot weddings, but it is also so nice to be close to home for a wedding as well.  It is great to be able to wake up in my own bed, and come back to my work computer and load images that night.  Plus, Miles City weddings are always such a great time, and I usually end up staying after my work is done, and celebrating with the couple as a guest and not just as the photographer.

This happened to be one of those weddings.  The dance floor was packed, and everyone was having a great time.  Clay and Marcie enjoyed every second of their wedding day.  They were both calm and relaxed throughout the day, and once the ceremony was over, they enjoyed the time they had together during portraits, and they both knew that there would be plenty of time to celebrate their new married status, but they didn't want to rush any of the other moments they had together.  They are truly an amazing couple.  They are so respectful of one another, and kind in general that it makes sense that they are both teachers.  They are a wonderful example of how a couple should spend their wedding day, and I know they will be a perfect example of a healthy and loving marriage.

Congrats again, and enjoy your sneak peek!
