Quick Weekend Post

Yes, I finally have a Saturday off from shooting weddings, and yes I am stuck at my computer anyways. :) I am not complaining however because I love what I do, and even though at times it gets a little tedious, I do really enjoy the editing process.  I needed a quick break from photoshop so I decided to post a couple photos I took from earlier this summer.  These were taken at the Sacajawea Hotel in Three Forks, MT.  The Folkvord clan was celebrating the life of Dale Folkvord, and I snapped a few quick pics while I was there.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend...Lots of shoots coming up next week, an adorable family shoot, a newborn shoot, and a senior shoot.  Stay tuned for lots of new blog posts in the coming weeks.  Also, I am currently running a senior portrait special, please email me for details!

Kim and Nick-July 17th, 2010

Kim and Nick were hitched on July 17th.  I had such a blast getting to know them, their family, and  their friends.  After the ceremony, we had such a wonderful couple shoot.  That is always my favorite part of a wedding because it is the only alone time (plus me) that the couple has during the day.  Plus, the couple is so happy and lovey that they almost forget that I am there.  These two were easy to capture great images of because all they wanted to do was kiss.  I love couples that aren't afraid of a little affection in front of me-that's what makes the images feel real.  Kim and Nick had the wedding at 6 and the reception at 8 at two different locations, so we had plenty of time for portraits and for location changes.  Thanks Kim for scouting out some great spots, and thank you both for allowing me to be part of your day.  I hope you are having a great honeymoon!

Josh and Justine-Smokin Hot and In Love

I absolutely love this couple. Justine and I worked together for years at 317, and I have nothing but awesome things to say about the girl. I was lucky enough to get to know Josh through Justine, and he is such a genuinely nice guy. Not only are these two incredibly good looking, (I mean seriously, they should probably be in their swimsuits on the cover of a fitness mag) they are also completely crazy about each other. Their chemistry is incredible. In every other shot they were either laughing hysterically at each other or kissing. Congrats you two. I couldn't be happier for you both.

The very handsome Jesse decided to pop in for a couple photos

I love Jesse's face in this photo

Remember that thing I mentioned about chemistry.....

Well hello gorgeous. Justine you are such a looker, and Josh isn't bad either :)

Oh and they are total bad asses too! I love the harley pics

Thanks Josh and Justine for the fun shoot! You two killed it :)

Amanda & Sean-July 3, 2010

Amanda and Sean had a beautiful wedding at the Woodlands in Cottonwood Canyon on July 3rd.  It was a rainy and chili morning, but the sun came out around noon and stayed out.  These two are originally from California, but they spend their summers working in West Yellowstone.  I was so happy that their guests were lucky enough to witness a beautiful Montana wedding with our trademark big blue skies!  Amanda was the most organized bride I'd ever worked with, and it made the day run flawlessly.  Thank you two for asking me to be part of your day.  You two were a joy to work with, and I really enjoyed getting to know you both.   I wish you all the happiness in your new life together.

Amanda's mother told me that the couple collected wine from all their travels since the engagement, and then brought it to the rehearsal dinner for all their loved ones to share.  Such a cute idea!
I thought that this photo was fitting, and I didn't even notice that the bottle says hands on it until I got home-what luck :)
