Clint and Laci {Miles City, Montana Wedding Photographer}

This is my last wedding sneak peek of the year!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE shooting weddings!  I love all the stressful, sentimental, funny, and little moments that make up a wedding day.  I love being an insider to a couple's most important day of their life.  I still find myself tearing up at each and every wedding, and it is always at a different point in the day.  Weddings are my bread and butter, and what I was first drawn to when I started my photography career.  With all that said, it is nice to wrap up my final wedding of the year, work on other shoots, marketing, design, updating my website, and ultimately prepping for the next wedding season.  It makes me miss weddings, and anxious to start the busy season all over again.

This was the perfect wedding to end my season.  Clint and Laci, your day was beautiful!  Thank you for including me, and thank you for giving me an opportunity to dance with my hubby at the end of the night!  I love when I can celebrate with the couple as not only their photographer, but also as a friend.  Enjoy your sneak peek, and your online gallery is on the way!

Ben and Shaye {Bozeman, MT Wedding Photographer}

Thinking about all that this wedding was just makes me smile.  It was so perfect.  All the details were amazing, the location featured incredible views, the friends and family had so much love in their hearts for the happy couple, and the happy couple themselves...so in love and they really took time to enjoy all the little moments.

I have known Shaye for quite some time.  We worked together what seems like another life ago, and she never fails to make me laugh.  Not then, not now.  She is such a fun person, but she also cares deeply for her family, friends, and most importantly Ben.  She told me when I first arrived that she had to try very hard not to cry because she was not a pretty crier.  Well there were numerous times throughout the day when Shaye was overwhelmed with emotion, and I never thought about how she looked with tears filling her eyes.  I could only think about how obvious it was that Shaye is such a kind hearted person, and that there were tons of reasons to be emotional because she is so loved, and so in love with Ben.  She is so deserving of the happiness Ben brings her, and Ben is a wonderful man so worthy of Shaye's fierce love.   Ben and Shaye light each other up, and it was such a pleasure to be there to capture their love and their day.

The wedding took place at Black Bull in Bozeman, Montana.  Somehow these two were able to hold a wedding at a place that doesn't really do weddings.  Not sure how they did, but sure am glad they did!

 A very romantic "first look"

My Best Friend's Wedding

I was not the photographer for my sister, Carley's wedding.  However, I did have my camera handy for parts of her wedding weekend.  It was nice to be able to enjoy the weekend, and just take photos for fun without the pressure of being the "pro" photographer.  Carlie Breen Photography captured the big day, and she did a wonderful job.  I made sure to have my camera handy while Carley was getting ready.  I second shot during the "first look", and myself, along with whoever else grabbed my camera, captured some candid photos from the reception.  I also took some photos at the rehearsal.  Below are some of my favorites from such an amazing wedding weekend.

The wedding ceremony was held at my family's ranch, and the reception was at the beautiful Sacajawea Hotel.  The ladies also got ready at the Sac.

Some bridal portraits inside the historic hotel

 The rain was coming down and poor Carley was a nervous wreck...She looked so beautiful waiting out the rain.

We were sitting in my aunt's van waiting for the rain to let up enough for the first look.  Well it hadn't completely stopped raining, but all Carley wanted to do was see her soon to be husband.  So the first look took place in the trees during a light drizzle.

Only wedding I've been at where a flash mob took place.  Such a fun thing to take part in!
Also the only wedding I've been at where the bride ends up on someone's shoulders during her favorite song, Mony Mony.
the happy couple near the end of the night...
Congrats again Car and James!!!  Such a fun wedding, and I could not be happier for you two and for the next chapter in your love story!
